H.A.B Tree Care
H.A.B Tree Care was founded in 2017 by Harry Briggs, whose passion for arboriculture began in 2013 while working aboard The Soron Larcon (a tall ship) in Sydney, Australia. His experience with ropes, heights, and outdoor environments sparked a deep appreciation for tree care, which he pursued further upon returning to the UK.
Determined to turn his passion into expertise, Harry studied Arboriculture at Kingston Maurward College, earning his Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture in 2015. After gaining extensive experience working with various tree care companies, he developed a comprehensive skill set in tree management, conservation, and arboricultural best practices.
In 2017, he established H.A.B Tree Care, building a company dedicated to professional, safe, and environmentally responsible tree care. In 2024, his partner Samantha joined the team, bringing her expertise in customer care, marketing, and administration, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and continued growth for the business.

From our skilled arborists tackling complex tree work to our friendly office team handling customer care and logistics, we ensure every job is carried out safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Harry Briggs: H.A.B Tree Care Director: Harry Grew up in the Dorset countryside, attending Chilton Cantelo School, followed by the Gryphon sixth form, then onto Kingston Maurward following a gap year. Outside of work Harry enjoys being with his family and learning more about trees and our impacts on the environment. His passion and love shining through in every aspect of his life.
Samantha Elizabeth: Admin & H&S Admin: Samantha joined the team as H.A.B Tree Cares admin support. With past experiences of managing dog behaviour and owning a franchise, Samantha loves nothing more then being out on walks in the countryside with dogs with a passion to learn more about the natural environment.
Perrin Lane: Photographer & Groundsman: Perrin has been a beloved member of our team from the year 2017, excelling in all skill sets that have been required of him. Perrin prefers to work on the ground throughout our working day, he has however developed great skills with a ground saw. Outside of work Perrin has a passion for gaming, computers and spending time with friends in the great outdoors, turning his hand to anything that helps others and a great love for animal. Due to Perrin’s technological skill sets being vastly superior to other colleagues, his photographing skills allow our clients to see the magic happen.
Vinnie Stanley-Hewitt: Equipment Operator: Vinnie has been a skilful member of our team from the year 2018, showing us his unique skillsets in equipment operating, general mechanics and the use of chainsaws. Spending all of his childhood growing up on a farm, Vinnie has agriculture background galloping throughout his lifestyle, with keen interests on the outdoors & the wildlife that lives around us. Vinnie’s hobbies include motorcycle riding on the dirt or the tarmac, caravanning at festivals throughout the summer months. Family time is key throughout his lifestyle, with strong bonds between family members & friends.
Oscar Cronshey: Oscar is one of our Arborists that assists us with our workload. Oscar has been working within the industry for almost three years now, showing passion within the Arboriculture & Gardening industry. When not at work, Oscar finds great enjoyment in the outdoors, very often undertaking recreational climbing of trees, rock climbing & hiking difficult terrain.
Lilly: Mascot: Lilly is our family dog who loves to come out to work with us (where possible). Lilly isn’t a boisterous dog, she’s quiet and loves watching the tree care take place with an occasional ball throw. We regard Lilly as our H.A.B mascot
